Patreece for Atlanta Public School Board District 6
Campaign Priorities
Protecting our Property Value - Stop School Closings!
-
Stop the dismantling of our schools and community.
I will fight to keep our neighborhood schools open and thriving.
-
Strong schools strengthen neighborhoods.
When our children excel, our property values rise.
-
Honor Atlanta’s proud educational legacy.
Our public schools have produced great leaders, thinkers, and activists — we must protect that tradition.
-
Restore stability for educators and families.
Teachers deserve support and security, not uncertainty and constant change.
-
Protect what matters most.
I am committed to safeguarding our children, our property values, and our communities for generations to come.
Protecting our Educators
-
My mother, Gracie Hutcherson, was one of only five teachers rehired at Fain Elementary in 2019. Every other educator lost their contracts and jobs — an atrocity that should never have been allowed to happen.
-
Such actions leave our children vulnerable and our schools gutted, damaging the foundation of our education system.
-
Many educators are now afraid of losing their jobs, and as a result, they are leaving the Atlanta Public Schools (APS) system.
-
This has to stop — we must ensure stability, protection, and respect for our teachers.
-
I have been a professional school counselor since 2002 and am a proud product of the Atlanta Public School System.
-
I completed my most formative years at M. Agnes Jones Elementary and Booker T. Washington High School.
-
The friendships and community I built through APS have lasted a lifetime — a testament to the power of strong, supported schools.
-
My lifelong mentor, Lynda Wolfe Smith, a retired APS teacher, continues to inspire my belief that supported educators make a stronger city.
-
I advocate for every child in APS to have access to teachers who are valued, protected, and empowered to stay in the profession.
Protecting our Schools
-
Great schools benefit everyone — helping children excel, strengthening communities, and increasing property values.
-
Commitment to ensuring educators are supported to protect our most valuable resource: our children.
-
Belief that when children receive the best education, communities thrive.

Protecting our Children
-
Ultimately Protect Our Children! Better schools mean stronger communities and higher property values.
-
Sadly, our current elected officials don’t prioritize our children or our neighborhoods.
-
Why are Southside elected officials being supported by Northside entities like the Buckhead Coalition?
-
Why have schools such as Thomasville Heights, Venetian Hills, and Fain been dismantled — costing educators their jobs and leaving our children vulnerable?
-
The truth: Our elected officials have betrayed us.
-
Vote for Patreece Hutcherson — because I care about our schools, educators, and communities.
-
Integrity Matters!
